Oppo is releasing its Reno series in Bangladesh for the high-mid range consumers for a while now. The latest addition to their Reno series is the Oppo Reno6. There is just one single version and the price is ৳32,990.
The design has that minimal aesthetic. It gives a nice first impression. The body is also just 7.8 millimeters thin. We have a 6.4″ Full HD+ AMOLED display and we didn’t expect less than that. There is also a 90Hz refresh rate. So, there are some expected features but nothing impressive. The same goes for the back camera. There is a nice Quad 64+8+2+2 Megapixel setup with a 4K recording option. But there are no additional features such as OIS or telephoto lens etc. It’s a pretty decent mid-range kind of camera. We expected something new or better.
The 44 MP front camera is a fine deal. But we had the same in the previous Reno5. So, there is no change here. We also have the same 4310 mAh battery with 50W Fast Charging. The same Snapdragon 720G chipset and 8 GB RAM. If you put the features of Reno5 and Reno6 side by side, they almost look like carbon copies. So, we don’t know why this update for the sake of update was necessary. But surely Oppo failed to provide any mentionable innovation or upgrade in this new release.
